You are what you do.

And when you change what you do, you change who you are. Transformative Creativity is action taken on an idea that transforms something in your life.

It’s a book, a podcast, a 30-day action oriented program, a free tool designed to show you the through-line of your professional and creative life
and a growing community of people who are done sleepwalking through lives they didn’t consciously choose.

Wake up. Create. Transform.

This might be for you if...

  • Your life looks fine from the outside and feels flat on the inside.

  • You’ve had a career path that looks scattered and you can’t figure out how the pieces connect.

  • You followed the recipe everyone said would work and ended up with something you no longer want to eat.

  • You’re young and already know the old recipe doesn’t work.

  • You’re successful on paper and secretly exhausted.

  • You’ve been consuming self-help content for years and nothing has actually changed.

  • You know something needs to shift and you don’t know where to start.

Transformative Creativity is for people who are done thinking about change and
ready to start doing something about it.

The Book

Transformative Creativity:
How to Stop Building a Life by Default and Start Creating One on Purpose

Your life is your creative work. You've been building it this whole time, whether you knew it or not. Now do it on purpose.

Available Now!

You have more to offer
than you think.

Live a life for a few decades and the shape of it gets hard to see from the inside. The jobs that didn't last, the projects you walked away from, the interests that never added up to a clean career. From up close they look random and disconnected.

Your Move is a free, AI-powered conversation that helps you find the through-line under all of it. It walks you through one question at a time, even if you've never used AI before, and in about 30 minutes it pulls up the connections you'd written off as coincidence and a few directions you'd quit letting yourself consider.

It's the same trail I followed back through my own thirty years, the one where I finally saw the false starts had been aiming at something the whole time. You might come out of it thinking what I thought. It was never random. I've been building one thing all along.

That recognition is the point. Once you can see the shape of what you've been making, you can start making it on purpose, which is where everything else here begins.

The conversation is completely private. It happens in your own AI account. I don't see it unless you decide to show me.

Ready to do the work?

Your Move shows you the threads. Change Your Life in 30 Days is where you pick one and pull it. It's a self-directed set of conversational tools that walk you through the whole process I use, getting honest about where you are, finding the thing you actually want underneath the shoulds and building one small thirty-day experiment you run on your own time. You do it on your own, with no group, no calls and no set schedule. You start when you want and go at your own pace.
It's $49 and it's yours to keep.

About Andrea

I’m Andrea Maurer. I’m 58, I’m a mixed-media painter, a writer and the creator of the Transformative Creativity framework. I’m also an expert in stuckness, mostly because I spent nearly thirty years living in it.

In November of 2025, after a long and difficult period in my life, I launched three 30-day experiments at the same time out of pure desperation. Day trading, travel retreat design, AI fluency. My brain came back online. My creativity returned. I started seeing connections I’d been blind to for years. The framework I’d been circling for half a decade clicked into place and I started writing a book, building tools, developing programs and painting again.

I’m not writing from the other side of a success story. I’m writing from the middle of one that’s still in progress. Everything I share here is real, including the parts where I’m still figuring it out.

The Premise

Identity isn’t something you discover. It’s something you build through repeated action. When you stop evolving, you stop feeling alive. When you start doing things differently, everything shifts.

Most people try to think their way out of stuckness. They journal, they strategize, they psychoanalyze themselves, they wait for clarity. Clarity doesn’t come from thinking. It comes from doing. Creative action regulates your nervous system, restores your sense of agency and changes your identity in real time. I’ve watched it happen in my own life over and over, and I’ve built a framework around why it works.
