The Many Faces of Us

Two years before I could name what Transformative Creativity was, I painted eleven faces. I didn’t plan a series. I just started painting and couldn’t stop. Each face is a character navigating something difficult: a nervous system under strain, a protective pattern that once made sense and was starting to cost too much, a version of a person trying to hold it together while something inside them was asking to be let out. I painted them because I had to, because something in me needed to externalize what I couldn’t articulate yet. Each one is a different size and comes with it’s own story that I wrote after each painting was complete.

Dimensions and pricing are listed below. Each piece comes with its own story, matted and framed. Additional photos available upon request. Contact me directly to purchase: andreamaurer@sbcglobal.net
